Mack Cole, Jr. was born on March 16, 1944 to Mack Cole, Sr. and Tammer Cole in Isola, Mississippi. He departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, Illinois.
He accepted Christ at a young age and served as a deacon under the pastorate of his father. He continued in his faith in his latter life. He enjoyed working on cars, playing spades and assisting people in their automotive needs.
He worked at Federal Pacific Electric Company for many years as a welder and mechanic and retired after many years of dedicated service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mack Cole, Sr. and Tammer Cole; one son, Darrick Dwayne Cole; sisters, Hattie Allen, Lela Dell Ross and Catherine Gee.
Mack is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Minnie Cole of Joliet, IL; four sons, Victor Cole of Tampa, FL, Rafael Cole of Joliet, IL, Kenny Phillips of Chicago, IL and Travion Cole of Joliet, IL; two brothers, Rev. Levi (Bonnie) Cole and Aaron Cole, both of Chicago, IL; special lifetime friend, John Guider of Chicago, IL; several grandchildren, many great grandchildren; in-laws; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
