Born September 8, 1925 in Winona, MS to Samuel and Martha Rimpson. She passed away April 1, 2013 in Joliet, IL.
Virginia was educated in Winona County School. She was a homemaker, mother, sister and friend to many. Virginia was a faithful member of Fellowship Church of God In Christ. She was always full of good cheer and never had hate for anyone. She was just simply a caring, and loving person.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Lucille Moore, Ann Harrison and Geneva Rimpton, seven brothers.Henry Rimpson, Nathan Rimpson, Eddie Rimpson, Floyd RImpson, Sammie Rimpson, Kelly Rimpson and Leonard Rimpson, brother-in-laws, Warren Dorris, Sr., Alfred Harrison, Sr., Ulish Moore Sr., and sisters-in-law, Dora Rimpson, Mamie Rimpson and Katherine Rimpson.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Hughes of Joliet, IL and Aaron Hughes of Albany, GA, two grandsons and three great grandchildren, one sister, Margaret Dorris, numerous nieces, nephews and a special friend, Nebraska Davenport.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Fellowship Church, 456 Youngs Ave., Joliet, IL. Service at 11 a.m., Pastor Stanley Rimpson, officiating.
