Lois Jean Parrow, born on June 1, 1961 in Saint Louis, Missouri, and peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on April 7, 2024 at the age of 62. She was the beloved daughter of Ollie Hampton and Joseph Parrow.
Lois’ journey began at Simeon High School, where she excelled academically and laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Following graduation, she married Tommie Bussie and started a family.
She embarked on a fulfilling career, primarily in the accounting department at Interstate Brands. Later in her career, Lois transitioned to a role at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC), where she oversaw inbound and outbound communications.
Lois is survived by her loving father, Joe; her supportive sisters, Judy, Linda, and Clarissa; her cherished daughters, Rekia and Richara; her adoring grandchildren, Aaliyah, Abby, Aariyah, Amylah, Aubrey, and Alonzo; and her great-granddaughter, Samira. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Ollie; and son, Randy.
A woman of strength and unwavering love for her family and friends, Lois’ memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace and salvation.
