Alan Jarod Edison-Hall, affectionately known as “Jarod” was born on November 15, 1989 to Kimberley Edison and Larry Hall, Jr. in Joliet, Illinois.
Alan attended Joliet Township High School. He was employed with Joliet Cold Storage until his untimely demise. During his lifetime, Jarod was well known in this community. Jarod was a protector to whom all he loved. His smile was contagious and would warm your heart. Jarod’s son, Jamarii and woman, Katirra “Ms. Betty Crocker” was his world.
Jarod had his own personal relationship with Christ. In recent months, he made efforts to re-introduce himself to Christ.
Jarod was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arthur Edison, Sr.; special cousin, D’Aris Evans; grandparents, great grandparents, Martha Curry-Russell and Shirley Williams.
He departed this life suddenly on Monday, January 13, 2020 in Crest Hill, Illinois.
Jarod leaves to cherish his memories: his paternal grandparents, Larry D. (Mae) Hall Sr.; maternal grandmother, Betty Edison; mother, Kimberley Edison, father, Larry D. Hall Jr.; son, Jamarii Edison; brothers, Jeremy Hall, Justin Hall and Darwin Pitts; sister, Ebony S. Edison; aunt, Toyetta (Omari) Winfrey; uncles, Arthur Edison, Jr., Brian Chandler and Jerome Hall; significant other, Katirra Barefield; godmother, Crystal McDonald; special cousins, Larry Knight, Corey Travis, Darius Travis, Dave Houston, Ryan Travis, Brianna Marble and La’Nora King; special friends, Kendell Reed, Tarion Waddell and Michael Hammond; and a host of great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
