Brian D. Pruitt

Brian Pruitt was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 7, 1984 to Heidi Pruitt and Cornell Williams Jackson.  Brian attended Beethoven Elementary School from where he then went on to graduate from Dusable Academy in 2002.  He later attended Job Corps and received his degree in construction.

Attending Job Corps Brian then moved to Columbus, Ohio where he later made a living working a Grifols Inc. for five years and later moved on, working at Octapharma Plasma.  After living in Columbus, Ohio, Brian then moved back to Chicago, IL working at Mercy Hospital as a Security Officer.

Brian was a great father, family man and friend.  Brian was always the one to keep in touch with everyone and had a smile that could light up a room.  He was loved by many people he came in contact with.

Brian departed this life on March 7, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio.  He was preceded in death by is father, Cornell Williams Jackson; his grandmother, Janie Ruth Pruitt, his younger brother, Neal Teacola Pruitt, Antwain Jones (Pete), Rodney Graham, Lavelle Clark and Cornell Williams.  He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ronderia Rush, Crekhana Rush and Simone Rush; two uncles, Clarence Jackson and Antione Pruitt; two aunts, Donna Williams and Arlene Williams.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory; his mother, Heidi Pruitt; his only daughter, La'Niyan Quess Pruitt; two brothers, Lonnell Pruitt and Darren Pruitt; 12 sisters, Charnette (Anthony), Ebony, Otisha, Tanisha, Raven, Robyn, Jaconna, Corrine, Andrea, Alexis, Denicks and Lashay; 12 brothers, Marcell, Cornell, Coinell, Bernard, William, Harry, Purdis, Heavy, Patrick, Rashon, Jornell; aunts, Donita, Valerie, Venus (Richard), Zelda; uncles, Raymond (Adrine), Tracy, Donald, Antawan, Fletcher, Charles, Calvin, Henry, Sylvester, Derrick; two special nieces, August and Akwea Pruitt; two special friends, Deontay Smith and Alphonse Williams and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins and nephews.
