Dant'e R. Campbell

Age 34 of Joliet, passed away suddenly Thursday, November 27, 2014.  Born July 7, 1980 in Joliet to Juanita Barfield-Campbell and Larry King.  He attended the Joliet School system and was employed by Elite Staffing in Joliet, IL.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Ruby Barfield and Elijah Hughes, paternal grandparents; Julia Mae Barnett and J.C. Ruffins; brother, James C. King and cousins; Aisha Walker and Lee Barfield.

Survived by his mother; Juanita Barfield-Campbell of Joliet, IL; father, Larry King of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, DeAndre, Levelle Barfield of Joliet, IL, Shelton Halis, Larry King, Jr., Laurel, MS, Charles King, Texas; sisters, Levedia Barfield, LaTonya Campbell, Takiyah Jefferson of Joliet, IL and Crystal King of Michigan; uncle, Elijah (Thelma) Barfield, Hartford, CT; aunt, Annette Mathis, Joliet, IL and a host of relatives and friends.

We were blessed to have such a loving and dedicated man in our lives for 34 years.  Donte touched so many lives and to know him was to love him.  He loved children so much, his nieces, were excited to be spending with Thanksgiving day with him.  He made a difference to so many and would love you no matter what!
