Donte J. Carmichael, Sr.

Donte J. Carmichael was born on January 28, 1992 in Chicago, Illinois to April D. Carmichael and Donte A. Pitts.

Donte lovingly called "Mickey" by family and friends received his education in the Chicago Public School Systems. He obtained his GED in 2017 and he also attended Olive Harvey College where he studied Business Management.

Donte accepted Christ at an early age at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Frank E. Milton.

Donte was fun-loving and had a great sense of humor. He had a captivating smile, a heart of gold, and a loving spirit that touched everyone he met. He lived his life to the fullest and loved to spend time with his kids, family and friends.

Donte departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother April D. Carmichael; father, Donte A. Pitts (Marsha); two children: Donte J. Carmichael, Jr. (DJ) and Jace'hon Walker; Godson Jordan Johnson (Baby Joe) and Honorary daughter, Daniyla J. Norman; five brothers: Darius Carmichael, Elijah Carmichael, Joshua Jackson, Devonte Map and William Pitts; two sisters: Brooke Pitts and Deja Pitts; two grandmothers: Johnnie Carmichael and Jacqueline Foster (John); two grandfathers: Marvin Johnson (Diane) and John Westbrook; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
