Javonte Montrice Johnson Jr. “Lil Tae”, age 8, passed away on Monday evening, September 23, 2019, at Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet, Illinois.
Javonte was born October 14, 2010, in Joliet, IL to adoring parents, Cierra Houston and Javonte Johnson. An amazing, talented, young light that garnered the love and attention from all of those he met entered this world and hit the ground running. From a small giggling baby to a kind, brave, charming and confident young boy, Javonte Montrice Johnson, Jr. also known as Little Daddy owned our hearts and will continue to do so until the end of time.
Javonte was a loving, courageous kid, whose smile and laughter brightened up any room. We will remember his love of family, his Paw, sports, and amazing personality. When Little Daddy entered this world, he entered our hearts and though he has been called home we will remember him forever.
Javonte was preceded in death by paternal grandfather; John D’Hulster, maternal grandmother; Mattie Stevens, great aunt; Tonqula Jackson and cousin; LaTray Wright.
Little Daddy is survived and lived through his parents; Javonte and Cierra; his brothers, Elijah Sellers, Ja’tavion Johnson, and Khy Barfield; his sisters, Jada Johnson and Jalia Johnson; paternal grandparents; Emanuel Bradley and Durhonda Walker; maternal grandparents; Michael Houston and Angela Stevens; his uncles; Jamar Stevens, Edwin Cooper, Gregory Twyman, Eric Watts, Larry Knight and Tyrone Spights, Jr.; aunts, Shatavia Houston, Jerriona Walker and Saniyah Bradley; great grandfather, Ronnie Pittman and Charles Stevens; great grandmothers; Tasmine Walker, Cynthia D’Hulster and Joanne Hall; great-great grandmother; Odessa Jointer. A host of uncles, cousins, and friends as well as his special aunts, Nicole Stevens and Arcola Bradley.
