Lois J. Jordan was born to the late Pearlie Carson (Otis) and Benjamin Menefee on June 14,1940 in Seale, AL. She attended Phenix City Schools.
Lois accepted Christ at a young age. She later joined New Faith Missionary Baptist Church where she was on the usher board for many years.
Lois was a decade hard working hair stylist for over 25 years. Lois was employed at Marshall Fields (Macy’s) for a number of years where she retired due to her illness.
Lois loved to shop and travel. Her favorite color was red. She spent a lot of time with her grandchildren.
Lois was married to the late Robert Jordan. From their marriage was created three beautiful children.
Lois was preceded in death by her brothers, George Stallings and Dennis Carson.
Lois leaves to cherish loving memories; three children, Michael Jordan, Vicki Jordan, Sonia Whitfield; two sisters, Gloria Crowell (Sylvester) and Crystal Cooper; three grandchildren: Tyesa Wilson-Bass (Miquel), Robert Wilson, Darius Whitfield (Michelle); five great-grandchildren, Traveon, Tykira, Taniya, Dale and Malachi; one god son, Kenneth Horton; two sisters in law, Adrienne Farley and Centhia Moffett (Tom); step-mother, Mamie Menefee; one half brother; Benjamin Meneefe Jr., one half sister; Arrie Carson; one uncle, Nathaniel Menefee; a few special people, Betty Kimbrough ,Edna Hunter, Alice Turner, Brosie Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
