Reginald Samuel Wright, affectionately known as "Reggie" was born on September 20, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Samuel S. Young and Dorothy Wright.
He accepted Christ at an early age at St. Leo Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. He received his high school diploma from Fenger High School in June 1975.
Reggie served in the United States Army from 1975-1998 and retired as a Helicopter Mechanic Sergeant after 23 years of service. He then became a physical fitness instructor and body builder, which he enjoyed as a hobby.
Reggie then decided to become an over-the-road truck driver, a job he was dedicated to and truly loved until he was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 3, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his father, Samuel S. Young; and his brother, Ralph McDade.
Reggie leaves to cherish memory of him to his mother, Dorothy (nee Wright) McDade of Austell, GA; his brothers, Deacon Bill (Robin) Wright of Chicago, IL; honorary brother, Reverend Dr. Howard (Patricia) Randolph of Matteson, IL; Keith (Venus) Knight of Bolingbrook, IL; David (Brenda) McDade and Lonnie (Cynthia) McDade, both of Gary, IN; Eric (Valerie) McDade of Franklin, WI and Reginald (Tonya) McDade of Ankeny, IA; one sister, Crystal (Kevin) Wilson of Mableton, GA; two uncles, Daniel (Eloise) Wright of Chicago IL and Mellott (Till) Wright of Las Vegas, NV; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
