Richard Leon Mosley was born August 28, 1945 in Winchester, TN to George and Bertha Mosley.
Richard was the type of person who liked to crack jokes and keep you laughing. Not only did he have a great sense of humor; but he had a smile that would light up any room. He was loved and cherished by everyone that knew him.
Richard grew up in Winchester, TN and graduated from Franklin County High School. There he married his first wife, Alma Mosley and from that union they were blessed with their only child, Scott.
Richard served in the Army in the Vietnam War. After Richard moved to Joliet, IL, he worked as a correctional officer for five years. Richard also worked for GAF Corporation and later retired from Ball Glass.
After Richard retired, he met and married his second wife, April Mosley.
Richard was preceded in death by his wife, April Mosley; parents, George and Bertha Mosley; brother, William Mosley; uncle, Alfred McCleary and sister-in-law, Bobbie Mosley.
Richard leaves to cherish his memories; son, Scott Sr. (Latisha); grandson, Scott, Jr., Christopher, Matthew, Keiyon; great grandchildren, Jaysen and Melody and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
