Rodney Tyrone Sisson was born February 16, 1958, in Chicago IL to Chester and Annie Bell Sisson. He was the fourth oldest child of Annie Bell. He accepted Christ in the middle part of his life which became an intricate foundation for him up until his passing.
He graduated from Westinghouse Vocational HS where he took up welding as a trade.
He was a natural born leader as well, entrepreneur, who experienced many different endeavors. Unbeknownst to most, Rodney attended bartending school where he became a mixologist.
Rodney affectionately known as "Tyke" by friends and by family "Ole Yellow" was a strong pillar to his family and loved being around them. He was passionate about helping others and giving advice such as his mother did.
Tyke loved his church and church family. He served under Tony Bianchi as a faithful member for 25 plus years. Tyke loved to laugh and make others laugh with his jokes. He enjoyed a friendly game of cards and wouldn't pass up a dice game either.
Our father was a praying man who enjoyed life, travel, listening to music, car rides, and sharing his wisdom with others. His favorite saying was "AIN"T NO MONEY" but always kept a pocket full of money!
His love will be reflected in the hearts of his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four siblings-Roosevelt Perry, Chester, Johnny, and Dorothy Sisson, two aunts, and his parents.
He will be cherished and celebrated by his loyal wife Lillian, his beloved five children Roddrick(Nikki), Latiana/Lotty(Aryanna), William, Christina and Roselinda Lewis. Grandchildren DaShawnda, Deonte', Rodney, Najm, Azarie, Rashuwn, Jeremiah, and Aryanna. Two Great grands Serenity & Sincere. Four brothers Ricky, Jerry, Kelvin(Rachel), Kenneth and sister Bertha(James). Three brother in laws. One favorite uncle BooJack, two aunts Jerelean Allen and Elizabeth Mackey(Romell) a brother from another mother Nathan Horton and a favorite friend Ernestine along with a host of wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
