Obituary

Shirley Denise Clayton was born to the late Willie James and Lorene Clayton on June 8, 1959.  She departed this earth on June 11, 2022.  Leaving a void of love, laughter and her many stories to all who loved her.

Denise joined The National Guard in 1980. Upon receiving her first stipend from the National Guard,  she changed her to Aisha Denise Clayton.

Aisha continued her military career in which she severed proudly and took much pride in her many accomplishments. Within the National Guard, Aisha received the ranks of II Lieutenant to then become elevated to Captain.

Aisha married the love her of life, Charles Bailey on Valentine's Day. Aisha had a love for everyone.  If she didn't like something, she'd definitely let it be known accompanied by her gracious smile.  She was considered the "family advisor".  If someone ever needed legal advice, she was always there and ready to assist.

Aisha was an active member of Victory Today Deliverance Ministries, formally known as, The Whole Truth Church of God in Christ . She spoke highly of her Pastor and First Lady.  She often called to check on them as well as offered many prayers, and bible study lessons.

Aisha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband,  one brother, and one sister.

She leaves in the care of the Lord her loving nephews Keon (Ashley) Clayton and Eric (Jennifer) Clayton; great-nieces and great-nephews, Eric Jr., Aaron, Cydnie, Devin, Kristian, Harper, and Kelis; godmother, Katie Graves; goddaughters, LaShell (Stan) Abbott and Iisha and Taky'A Dingle; godson, Dy'Jon Abbott; sister-in-love, Azalea (John) McEwen; brothers-in-love, Christopher Bailey, Beydon (Cynthia) Bailey, and Demetrius Smith; seven aunts, many cousins and friends.  Aisha also leaves to cherish, her "Friends for Life", Donna Flowers, Eunice (Pat) Harris, Kelly McKenzie and her cat, Priya.
