Allie Evans Obituary

Allie Evans was born in Soso, Mississippi on December 12, 1928 to George McCullum and Willie Mae Watts McCullum.  Heaven received another angel, Allie on January 12, 2024.

Precious Memories:

Allie attended school in Soso, MS along with her brother, Clote McCullum and sister, Helen McCullum Edwards.  She later moved to Joliet, Illinois.

Allie was a member of Second Baptist Church for 70 years, where she served faithfully and attended most services.  She supported the church and was loved by the entire church.  She used her talent as an actress to act on programs.

Allie was an avid gardener who loved to work in her yard. She always had a yard full of beautiful flowers that were admired by neighbors, friends and family.  Allie decorated her house every holiday and her decorations were impressive, beautiful and unique. She was a sharp dresser that loved beautiful and unique clothing just like she decorated her house, she did so her with her appearance.  She was never sad, she was always laughing even if something bothered you.

Allie loved listening to spiritual services on the radio and especially loved to listen to The Tim Jones show.

Allie was preceded in death by her parents, George McCullum and Willie Mae Watts McCullum; husband, Uller Evans Sr.; daughters, Joyce Adams and Sandra Green; sons, Uller Evans Jr. and Terry Evans; granddaughter, Tamara Harris and great grandson, Tevin Bridges; great granddaughter, Shanika Person; brother, Clote and sister, Helen.
