Annie Churchill Obituary

Annie L. Churchill 76, of Joliet, Illinois passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025.  She was born October 23, 1949.  Annie accepted Christ early in her life.  She was known for her generous heart, her love of cooking, and the joy she found in Bingo.

She also enjoyed fishing in her earlier years, ad shopping.  Annie proudly earned her high school diploma in 1985.  An accomplishment that showed her desire, and determination to keep moving forward.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Douglas Dixon; husband, James Churchill; daughter, Sandra Dixon; sister, Rosie Dixon; mother, Irene Jones; aunt, Lee White; uncle, Willie “Boo-pee” Starr.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her cousin, Robert White (LA); niece, Jacquelyn Hester (AR); nephew, Ricky (Eva) Dixon (IL); niece, Pamela Dixon (IL), niece, Veronnica Chavez (AR); great nieces and nephews, Erica Edwards (AR), Michele Johnson (IL), Porsha (Lorenzo) Jones (AR), Jasmine Brown (IL), Joshua Dixon (IL), Jessica Weeks (IL), Alicia, Isiah, Carmelo, and Antonio Chavez, all of (AR).  Annie is also survived by her great-great nieces and nephews, Adriana, Jaylen, Javon, La’Quan, Aivah and Lonzo, all of (AR).

Annie will be remembered for her warmth, her strength and love she shared with her family.
