Anthony Burnett was born June 21, 1964 in Chicago, Illinois to Joseph Burnett Sr. and Christine Burnett Grant.
Anthony was preceded in death by his step father, Walter Grant Sr.; brother, Christopher "John" Burnett; sister, Christan Burnett; step-daughter, Kailo Butler and brother-in-law, Julius Flowers.
Anthony attended Joliet Central High School where he earned his high school diploma. After graduating high school, he relocated to Racine, Wisconsin where he began working and would later met the love of his life and wife, Donna Dawkins Burnett. From their union were born two beautiful children, Anthonique Burnett and Mister Burnett, along with two step-children, Richard Graver and Kailo Butler in whom he loved and raised as his own.
Later in life, Anthony worked as a carpenter; building and remodeling homes with his father who he called his best friend. Anthony loved nothing more than his family; especially his mother who he honored as the cream of the crop. His love for his family and friends never grew weary. He was intrigued with learning and exploring the beauties of life.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories; wife, Donna Dawkins Burnett; daughter, Anthonique Burnett; son, Mister Burnett; step son, Richard (Chris) Graver; grandchilden, Mishalae McKinley, Kailo Burnett, Nyia Burnett, Khan Burnett; father, Joseph Burnett Sr.; mother, Christine Burnett Grant; brothers, Joseph (Evaline) Burnett Jr., Ben (Topaz) Curry, Benjamin Burnett, Taurus (Regina) Burnett, Reginald Burnett, Davonte Hinton; sisters, Yolanda Flowers, Ada (Derrick) Jackson, Joann Moore, Kristin (Tim) Reed, Tonya (Ronald) Green, Christine (Zachary) Brooks, LaToya (Terryl) Ward and a host of aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Anthony's life touched many people, he blazed the trail of love to all he encountered.
