Antonio Johnson Obituary

Antonio Devon Johnson was born in St. Louis, Missouri at DePaul Hospital on January 7, 1994 to the union of Juanita Parrish Johnson and Anthony Dwayne Johnson.  He was the fourth of six children.

Antonio (AKA) Tone Tone J. attended Irene King Grade School and graduated from Plainfield High School in Plainfield, IL.  He furthered his education at Kishwaukee College in Malta, IL. He was accredited and received his CDL License at RT 66 CDL Training School in Lockport, IL in 2016.

Antonio had a special love for boxing, debating issues, and basketball with a great joy in his heart as his brother Robert went off to Grambling State University to pursue his dream to go pro.  As well as a special love for his family, his mother, Juanita who was affectionately known as his twin, and his son, Austin Jr., it was nothing for Antonio to surprise his son by popping up at his school, or taking him to Chuck-E-Cheese, or to the park or even around his family just to show him off.  He was a great motivator, and an encourager.

Antonio was known to be well groomed, rather it was him sporting his beard, brushing his waves or his Million dollar Smile. His very presence would light up the room and his smile alone was contagious.

Antonio was employed at Central Transportation in Aurora, IL. Antonio formerly worked at Fed Ex, and JB Hunt Trucking Company, just to name a few.

Antonio accepted Christ and was baptized in 2007 under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Smokie Norful at Victory Cathedral Worship Center in Bolingbrook, IL

Antonio transitioned his life on Monday, January 13, 2020 In Aurora, Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Lee Parrish.
