Barbara Jean Brister Holman was born July 7, 1940 in Chapman, MS. She departed this life Sunday, September 5, 2021. Barbara was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Joliet, IL.
She was united in matrimony to Louis “Bob” Holman and to this union; two wonderful children were born, Andrea “Cookie” and Christopher “Chris”. She was employed at St. Joseph Hospital, Joliet, IL as a Nurse Aide until her retirement.
She is preceded in death by her parents and son Chris.
She leaves to cherish her memory loving daughter Cookie and two beautiful granddaughters Victoria (Johnathan) Garcia and Alisa Holman. She leaves one sister Sandy (Conrad) Hardeman and one brother Greg Porter. She also leaves a host of relatives and friends.
