On May 24th, 1990, the sweetest, most loving and precious baby girl was born to Roslyn and Dion Clark.
Belinda (or BJ as she was known to all that know her), was one of the kindest people that you would ever meet. She would literally give you the shirt off her back.
She was a Fashionista extraordinaire and LOVED to dress to impress! BJ was extremely intelligent and was a very hard worker.
BJ took her role as the oldest sibling to Kimberly VERY SERIOUSLY! She would protect and defend her at all costs and loved Kimberly with everything within her.
BJ was the proud mother of two handsome boys, Koby and Kendrick and she loved them with every fiber of her being.
BJ was born and raised in Holiness. She loved the Lord and always had a repentant heart. She loved church and had a sensitivity to the presence of the Lord and would often be found falling to her knees in worship. And, so now, that’s where you will find those of us that loved her: in worship. God has spoken, and we say “yes” and “amen”.
Belinda departed this life suddenly on Monday, April 4, 2022. She was preceded in death by her loving mother, Rosalyn Sims-Lewis, her grandparents, Deacon Lonnie Marvin Sims Sr. and Pastor Ethel Pearl Sims, her uncles Rickey, Lonnie Jr. and Dennis Sims, and her recently departed great aunt, Mother Artis Thompson.
BJ leaves to cherish her memories her beloved sons, Koby and Kendrick, her father, Michael Lewis, her siblings, Kimberly Clark, Diondre Clark, Tamera Clark, Dion Clark and Tranelle Green; two special nieces, Anayah and Alayah, her aunts, Demetria Sims, Julie Sims-Hatten and Daphney Sims-Washington; her uncle, Vincent Sims (Stephanie) and two special cousins, Jonathan and Caleb.
