Bentley M. Duncan

Bentley Marquie Duncan was born November 30, 2015 in Joliet Illinois to parents Fantasia and Charles Jr. At 10 years young Bentley was called home to be with his heavenly father on May 16, 2026 while surrounded by his loved ones.

Bentley was dedicated back to Christ at Shiloh M.B. Church in Lockport, Illinois. Bentley was currently a fourth grader at Elim Christian services in Crestwood Illinois. School was his favorite place to be. He woke up promptly every morning excited to ride the bus and go to school with his friends.

Bentley, despite all of his medical battles was a happy, loving and strong child. Defying the odds Bentley lived a full life. Expressing himself through kicking and laughing.  He enjoyed going to the movies, listening to music, being outside, car rides, and going on outings with his family. The mini sneaker head was known to be the best dressed in every room that he entered. 

Bentley was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Joe Bessie Harris and paternal, great grandmother, Janet Carradine; his uncle, Willie Love; and brother, Jordan Gentry.

Bentley leaves to cherish his fondest memories with his parents, Fantasia (James) Gentry  and Charles Duncan Jr.; his grandparents, Carmen Carradine, Willie Love Jr., Angela (DeMetrius) Saunders, Terry Gentry and Charles Duncan Sr.; great grandparents, Willie (Patricia) Harris and Corrine Hughes; his siblings, Joy Gentry, Edward Duncan, Taniqua, Trayvon, Jamel, Tamera, Tamia, James, Taryah, Jalen and Zakary Gentry; his godmothers, Summer Saunders and Ebony Hill. Special aunts D’Metria Saunders, Danganetta Harris and Breanna Love and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
