Bernard H. Marble, affectionately known as “Too Cold/Bunchy”, was called home on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. He was born to the late Willie Lee Marble, Sr. and Ruthie Mae Marble on April 2, 1966 in Chicago, IL. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. Later he joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church where he was instrumental in the media Ministry under the leadership of Reverend Herbert Brooks, Sr.
Bernard relocated to Joliet, IL in 1976 where he attended A.O. Marshall Elementary School, Gompers Junior High School, and later graduated from Washington Junior High School. He went on to graduate from Joliet Central High School, class of 1984. He was amongst the first group to participate and graduate from the 12 step program through the Will County court system in 2001. Bernard had a passion for detailing cars which he did many years, not only for work, but also as a hobby. He was a man of many talents. Bernard was such a gracious man and would do anything for anybody. Any day, any time, he was just one phone call away.
In 2001, Bernard was united in holy matrimony to the late Shirley (Marble) Adams. From their unity, they collectively joined together 12 children. He was a proud, loving, and devoted, husband, son, brother, father, uncle, and grandfather.
