Beverly J. Cruickshank

Beverly J. Cruickshank was born to Mary Sue Smith and James Jones on September 12, 1951 in Joliet, Illinois.  She passed away on November 8, 2024 in Joliet, Illinois.  She accepted Christ at an early age.

She had three children, Laine Cruickshank Jr., Marcus Cruickshank and Oliva Cruickshank; five grandchildren, Ti’Sheil, Dontee, Tasia, Mar’Shaun and Elijah; two great grandchildren, Dameer and Dontee Jr.; daughter-in-law, Sheila Cruickshank.

Beverly loved spending time with family and friends.  She had a heart of gold and would help any and everybody.  She loved to cook and shop.  She loved going to the zoo and to travel.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Sue Smith and James Jones; two sons, Eric and Johnathon Cruickshank; four siblings, Billy, Barbara Ann, Curtis and Shirley; nephew, Leonard; ex-husband, Laine Cruickshank Sr.; mother-in-law, Ollie Cruickshank.

Beverly leaves to honor and celebrate fond memories; her loving sons, Marcus Cruickshank, and Laine Cruickshank Jr. (Sheila); daughter, Olivia Cruickshank; grandchildren, Ti’Sheil, Dontee, Tasia, Mar’Shaun and Elijah; two great grandchildren, Dameer and Dontee Jr.; one sibling, Fredrick Jones and numerous friends and extended family.
