Billy Lanell Myers, Sr.

Billy L. Myers, Sr. was born June 12, 1973 to Billy Myers and Mary Crowder, in Joliet, IL. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. 

Billy accepted Christ at an early age and believed in God with his whole heart.  He excelled in basketball, football and baseball during his Junior High and High School years.  Billy attended Lockport High School and was on the football team, he loved him some football. He was a big sports fan and he loved watching his favorite team, the Chicago Bears. He loved his children and family and was a friend to many. 

Billy worked in the Maintenance Department for many years in a local Warehouse.  He was lastly employed with Trader Joe’s.

Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Crowder. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, four loving children, his one and only son, Billy Myers Jr., three daughters, Julicia Myers and Justice Myers (twins), and Korrin Parker; father, Billy Myers; brother, Vincent Myers; sister, Keisha Myers; grandchildren, Tariq Johnson, Amaiya Myers, Madison Fox, Jackson Fox, Jrake Fox and Ari’ale Myers and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
