Bobby Lee Brown was born October 22, 1954 to the union of James Brown and Christina (nee Nettles) Brown. He was taken from us suddenly on Friday, November 20, 2020.
Bobby was preceded in death by both his parents; his paternal and maternal grandparents; a special uncle, Webster Voss; two sisters, Linda Cartwright-Taylor (John Taylor) and Lillie McKnight; a precious daughter, Bobbi Kristina; along with several aunts and cousins.
Bobby was the product of the Joliet Public School system. He was baptized at an early age by the late Rev. Odell Thompson, then Pastor of St. John M.B. Church.
Bobby Brown was an entrepreneur in his own right. He purchased his own truck, employing too many friends. He started a Landscaping service, which he operated for several years. Bobby was employed by Geodis Logistics in Romeoville, Illinois.
He had recently received the permits to start his own clothing business, "One Size Fits All."
Bobby is survived by his long time companion, Denise Young and their children, Corniece Young (Texas) and step-daughter Natasha Young (Ohio).
Bobby leaves to mourn his passing, a favorite aunt, Isabella Voss; he spent many days on her front porch drinking Pepsi and talking and laughing.
Bobby leaves five siblings in God's care; Mary Dickson (Grady), Victoria (Texas), Veronica Morgan (J.B.), Shirley McNear (Jason), Steven Charles (Karshena); grandchildren, Shakira Young, Niyana Young, Randy Wright, Daniel Wright and his riding buddy, Christopher Cartwright, along with extended family and a host of relatives and friends.
