Early Life and Spirit
Brandon Xavier Goodum entered the world on April 18, 1997, bringing with him an energy and light that would continue to shine throughout his life. From a young age, Brandon’s enthusiasm and charisma made an impression on everyone around him. Deeply rooted in faith and family, he affectionately earned the nickname “Grandma’s Lil’ Preacher” by his maternal grandmother, Geraldine for his willingness to lead family prayers with heartfelt conviction and joy.

Education and Achievement
Brandon’s educational journey reflected his dedication and vibrant spirit. He attended Edna Keith Elementary in Joliet, Illinois; Aux Sable Middle School and Plainfield South High School in Plainfield, Illinois; and graduated from Joliet Central High School. During his time at Aux Sable, he was selected to participate in the school’s grand opening ceremony and was inducted into the Junior National Honor Society. He later pursued higher education at Joliet Junior College and proudly earned his diploma in HVAC & Basic Refrigeration from South Texas Vocational Technical Institute in Arlington, Texas, in December 2025.

Professional Path
With his natural gift for communication and his genuine passion for helping others, Brandon built a career connecting with people. He worked in sales and customer service roles, including positions at New York Life, American Income Life, and most recently for, EverythingBreaks! Known for his drive and determination, Brandon frequently achieved recognition among his team’s top performers.

Brandon was a man of creativity and vision, pursuing his passions for music and fashion with remarkable talent. A gifted rapper, he captivated audiences in Illinois and Texas with his powerful lyrics and infectious energy. His musical legacy continues through the many original songs he recorded.

Brandon also channeled his creativity into fashion, founding his own clothing line, Xavier Cole — a name that combined his middle name and as a tribute to his beloved mother using "Cole" from her name of Nicole. His designs featured empowering messages and streetwear infused with confidence and individuality. Brandon’s personal style was always distinctive and expressive, whether in his own creations or sharply dressed in professional attire.

Devotion to Fitness and Faith
Health and discipline were integral to Brandon’s daily life. He was dedicated to fitness, often walking to his local gym and spending hours training, driven by commitment and perseverance.

Above all, Brandon’s life was guided by his faith. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and leaned on his faith during life’s challenges, embracing the belief that “this too shall pass.” His steadfast trust in God was evident in how he lived—with optimism, compassion, and grace.

Cherished Family and Legacy
Brandon’s love for his family knew no bounds. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend whose presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. In a true act of love and generosity, he welcomed his mother and siblings to join him in Texas, helping them begin a new chapter together—one of the many ways he expressed his care and devotion.

Brandon will be remembered for his radiant smile, limitless energy, and the kindness he extended to all. His spirit will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.
