Brittney Ora Nicole Gholston

Brittney Ora Nicole Gholston was born March 21, 1988 to Mildred Jean Gholston in Joliet, IL.

Brittney went home to be with our Lord, on May 26, 2022.  At at an early age, Brittney accepted Christ into her life; under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Isaac Singleton Sr. Brittney spent many years as a candy striper and junior nurse for the Mt. Zion Family. 

Brittney attended Laraway School and Joliet Central High School where she graduated in 2006.

Brittney was employed with Ultra Foods, Joshua Arms, and Meridian Community School District where she served as a paraprofessional. 

Brittney was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Gholston; brother, Derrick Gholston; grandmother, Ora Dee Gholston; special uncle, John Gholston Sr.; special aunt Jimmie Gholston. 

Brittney leaves to cherish her memories, three special cousins who were more like sisters, Brianna Griffin, Chasity Doss, and Keanna Doss; aunts, Dorothy Ann and Mary Ann Gholston; cousins, Devita Doss, Felisha, Eric and Brian Gholston, Martez Doss, Malik, Tylan, Johnathan, and Joshua Fuller; special aunt Eddie Bee Edwards, special niece, Derricka Gholston; and special family friend, Nicole Epting.  She also leaves to cherish numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
