Cameron Alexander Harris

Cameron Alexander Harris (Cam) was born on October 25, 1998 In Hinsdale, IL. to Kenneth Sr. and Rose Harris. Cameron was a graduate of Bolingbrook High School, and was serving active duty in the U.S. Air Force National Guard 132d Wing in Des Moines, Iowa. 

Cameron was baptized and accepted the Lord as his personal savior at Mt. Ebal Missionary Baptist Church in Lockport, IL. His personal relationship with God was strong. Cameron was intelligent and very resourceful. He was kind and a loyal friend yet firm and very independent. He loved family gatherings and hanging out with family and friends. He also loved watching movies and playing video games.  He had a group of friends from school that he enjoyed playing with online.  Those that were close to him always knew they could count on a laugh when Cam was around.

Cameron attended Ridgewood Baptist Academy in Joliet, IL and Jane Addams Middle School in Bolingbrook, IL.  He graduated from Bolingbrook High School in 2017. Following high school he attended Loras College, Dubuque, IA, and University of Illinois at Chicago.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2018 and was currently serving active duty as an Airman First Class.  Cameron was preparing to resume his college academics at Iowa State University in Ames, IA this fall.  In his previous days Cameron was surrounded by family and friends allowing him to celebrate the graduation of his brothers Ken Jr., and Carson.  He made transition from this earth into eternal life on June 28, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Raymond Johnson.

Left to cherish his memories are his Father Kenneth Sr., Mother Rose, brothers Kenneth Jr., and Carson.  Maternal grandmother Patricia Johnson, paternal grandparents Sam and Velma Harris. Aunts Cheryl Gordon(Derrick), Carolyn Barnes(Lester), Stephanie Harris, Latina Harris.  Uncles Charles Harris(Janet), Clifton Harris, Anthony Harris and many cousins and friends who were also part of the family.
