Caprice Lasha’ Markham sunrise was on June 29, 1992 to the proud parents of Stacy Hall Henderson and Lamont Markham, Sr. Caprice was a bright and infectious person, anyone that came to know her would instantly love her. She was the light of her family.
Caprice Lasha’ graduated from Martin Luther King, Jr. High School and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Caprice Lasha’ worked at Leeda Service as a Job-Coach before going on to work at UCan as a Youth Counselor until her untimely death. Caprice enjoyed working with at risk youth.
Caprice is gone way too soon for all of us but she can now rest and be with her beautiful baby boy, Mylan; her grandmother, Joan Haynes; her three (3) aunts: Sherry, Shikinna and Charlotte Hall; all of who are in HEAVEN waiting to receive her.
Caprice Lasha’ leaves to cherish her memories forever her devoted and loving Mother and Father: Stacy (David) Hall-Henderson; and Lamont Markham, Sr.; One (1) Grandmother: Patricia Markham (affectionately called “Suga”); four (4) Brothers: Deonte M. Hall, Lamont Markham, Jr., Daveed R. Markham and Ryan J. Hall; four (4) Sisters: Nathaliea Bracey, Rhonise Jacobs, Naikwa R. Markham and Rayven L. Harris; five (5) Uncles: Maurice Markham, Darrin (Phyllis) Markham, Taurus Turpin, Charnell Turpin and Gerald Williams; four (4) Aunts: Cory P. Markham, Phyllis Turpin, Katrina Adams and Lynae Rodriguez; two (2) Nieces: Arrihana and Jezirah; two (2) Nephews: Aydin and Brian; honorary Grandmother Geneva (Early) Wright and her children: Tommie Williams, Jr., Bryon K. Williams, Bonita Davis and Heather Gibbs; stepmother, Davida Normand-Markham and a host of family, friends and co-workers.
