Carnelle Demontre Jones was born December 17, 1977 in Joliet, Illinois to Rose Jones and Curtis Ham. Carnelle received his call to be with the Lord and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. He lived in Roseville, Minnesota at the time of his passing.
Carnelle accepted Christ at an early age and was currently a member of Glory International Harvest Church under the leadership of Apostle Deddrick Perry Sr. Carnelle was part of the Sound Ministry and he took this role serious. Carnelle moved to Minnesota, but almost every time he was in Joliet, he went to church. Carnelle attended Joliet Public Schools. He graduated from Joliet Central High School, Class of 1996. He also graduated from ITT Technical and Devry Electronic Engineering/Technology Military and Management. Carnelle loved people and they loved him. He was very kind and loving to everyone. He enjoyed family and friends, football, video games, basketball, traveling and watching movies.
Carnelle was enlisted in the Army for three years (Field Artillery) and trained new soldiers.
Carnelle was employed at Comtech EF Data as a Material Handler in Tempe, Arizona. Carnelle was employed at Graham Packaging in West Chicago, IL, Uber/ Door Dash Driver in Minnesota.
Carnelle was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John L. Jones and uncle, Charles Jones.
Carnelle leaves to cherish his memories; his mother, Rose Jones of Joliet, IL; father, Curtis Ham of Kinston, NC, IL; maternal grandmother, Etta Jones of Joliet, IL aunts and uncles, Marjorie (Willie) Gunn of Kilmichael, MS, Billy (Annette) Jones of Joliet, IL and Jeanette DeLoach of Joliet, IL, Hilda Ham, Bo Ham, both of Kinston, NC and Samuel Ham of Baltimore, MD; siblings, Karisha Jones of Phoenix, AZ, Keyona Jones of Fayeville, NC; nephews; special nephew, Kyan, Kyndell King, Donte and Dechari Jones; niece, Lyric Jones; special loving aunt, Glenda Runyon and her daughter, Glenisha Runyon; special friends, Steve Covington, Tim Newell and Donovan Shelby along with a host of other relatives and friends.
