Cecelia A. Daniels

Cecelia A. Daniels was born December 15, 1949 to Marion Daniels and Faye Holloway in Joliet, Illinois.  She departed this life on Sunday, May 11, 2025 in Joliet, Illinois.

Cecelia accepted Christ early in life.  She attended Joliet Public Schools and graduated from Joliet Central High School.  She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and listening to music.

She was a bus driver for Joliet Mass Transit and years later, became a school bus driver.

Cecelia is preceded in death by her father, Marion Daniels; mother, Faye Holloway; sister, Marlene Daniels and son, Jamie Daniels.

Cecelia leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories; one daughter, Cynthia Daniels of Celina, TX; two sons, Derome Daniels and Curtis Harris, both of Joliet, IL; granddaughters, Briana Perry of Tinley Park, IL; Alayah and Ca'Leayah  Harris, both of Joliet, IL; three grandsons, Marqui Vaughn Jr., Brandon (Elizabeth) Perry and Devon Daniels; three great grandchildren, Amaya Vaughn, Aderinsola Oshiga and Olayiwola Oshiga; special friends, Betty Brown, Gloria Brown, Margo Garrett, Anita Payton and Jackie Moffett; and a host of other relatives and friends.
