Charla M. Newsome

Charla Michelle Newsome was born on March 17, 1970 to the union of Patricia Ann Townsend and Willie Louis Newsome. Charla departed this life on November 26, 2024.

Charla graduated from Joliet West High School. Charla received an associate’s degree from Robert Morris College. 

Charla accepted Christ at an early age. Charla was a devoted and faithful member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for most of her life. Charla loved the Lord and held on to her faith until her departure.

Charla was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia Ann Townsend and Willie Louis Newsome, and her grandparents.

Charla leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Nia Newsome, her mom, Patricia Newsome; her brothers; Frankie (Sandra) Newsome, Brian Harvey, and Shannon (Theresa) Newsome, and her sister, Tamiika Newsome. Charla will always hold a special place in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, god child, and friends.
