Clarence Ray Hoyle

Clarence Ray Hoyle was born to Kosyle Carr (nee Duncan), also known as Lucillie and Willie Frank Hoyle on July 29, 1956 in Joliet, Illinois.

Clarence attended Joliet Public Schools and graduated from Joliet Central High School.  Clarence was the epitome of joy and fostered long lasting friendships in whomever he encountered.  Clarence loved everyone and everyone loved Clarence.

The love he displayed was also shared by the people he cared for as a Personal Care Giver, and he truly enjoyed his assignment.

Clarence enjoyed helping people and was very generous if he could help anyone.  He always greeted you with a warm welcome and displayed his love and didn’t mind telling others he loved them.  He loved to dance and showcase his culinary skills.  He also didn’t mind utilizing his taste testing ability in telling you what the missing ingredients in your dish was.  He loved giving you assistance in your wardrobe preparation. 

Clarence is preceded in death by his sister, Lebrenda Hoyle; his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Clarence departed this life on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at his residence.

He is survived by his loving parents; father, Willie Frank Hoyle and mother, Kosyle Carr; sisters and brothers, Willie J. Hoyle, Carita Y. Hoyle, Larnita R. Hoyle Williams (Will Williams), Thomell Smith, Taray Smith, Deidra Hill (Jimmy), Derrick Gibson, Demetris Hoyle and Andre Hoyle; special friends, Kaye Lanier, Robert Long, Deidra Hill (sister) and Misty Temple; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
