Clement Dewayne Bradley

Clement Dewayne Bradley, affectionately known as Wayne, was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi on February 16, 1978, to Evelyn Denise Bradley and Clement Davis.  He accepted Christ as his Savior and Lord at an early age and continued throughout his lifetime to be an avid believer and follower of Christ. Wayne attended Bradwell Elementary School in Chicago, Illinois where, in advanced classes, he excelled in all subjects. From there, he attended Chicago Vocational Career Academy (CVCA or CVS) and graduated from Kenwood Academy High School, located on Chicago’s southside. Upon graduation, he moved to Nebraska where he enrolled in college and studied Business and Technology.

Wayne was a successful entrepreneur and for a number of years he owned and managed a popular barber shop located in Chicago’s suburbs. Later, he was employed by Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) as a bus operator where he remained until the time of his transition. Wayne was sharp and full of knowledge! He was an avid reader, finding solace and joy in the company of books. Music was also one of Wayne’s passions and he served as one of the founding members of Stay Tight Records, which focused on producing and promoting positive lyrics.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Wayne it was impossible not to love him. He had a wide, engaging smile that immediately warmed your heart; and he rarely met a stranger.  He was also the consummate father and family man, and could always be found front and center at his children’s school events and social engagements. 

The Lord took Wayne’s hand Thursday, February 6, 2020. He leaves to cherish his memory, Father; Clement Davis and loving Mother; Evelyn Denise Bradley, Grandmother, Martha Ella Bradley. His beloved children; Olivia, Omaj’Anique, Sameya, and Khaled Bradley. One grandchild, Aceyn D. Holder, three sisters, Gwendolyn, Danielle, and Tenelle, one brother, Donzel, Step Mother ,Angela Davis , six uncles including David, James and Frank Bradley, Lenzel, Roosevelt, and Donald; six aunts, namely, Louise, Johnetta, Joyce, Beatrice, Rosie and Marilyn, numerous nieces and nephews. A host of special first and second cousins, fiancé; Miasha Pollard and countless extended family members and friends.
