Crystal M. (Dantzler) McCain

Crystal was born to James T. and Norma Jean (nee Whitehead) Dantzler in Joliet, IL.  She grew up in Lockport, IL and was the oldest of seven siblings.  She graduated from Lockport Township High School, worked many years and retired from the Will County Health Department.

Crystal accepted the Lord at a young age and continued her fiath.  She united with the Forest Park Church and remained a member under the current leadership.

She was an amazing cook and a very loving mother and grandmother.

Crystal is preceded in death by her father, James T. Dantzler; her mother, Norma Jean Dantzler; and her baby brother, Jonathan Myles Dantzler.

She passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018 with her loving daughter by her side.

She leaves to cherish her memory; two children, a son, Charles Alfred McCain II; a daughter, Ashanti Marie McCain; and one god-daughter, Katrina Morris, all of Joliet, IL; three grandsons, Jermaine, Isiah and Demarie Johnson; two granddaughters, Derriah and Deja Walters-Dunn of Joliet; two brothers, James (Mecheryl) Dantzler of Joliet, Spencer (Arecellie) Dantzler of Aurora; three sisters, Alice (Floyd) Eskridge of Lockport, Myra Coble and Denise (Dwayne) Duria of Joliet; a world of nieces, nephews and massive family members.
