Danny Rogers

Danny Rogers, born April 5, 1949 to the late Raymond Rogers who preceded him in death and Verda Hubbard, transitioned on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

He attended White's Chapel Elementary School and graduated from Geeter High School in 1967.  He served in the United States Army and received a Honorable Discharge.

To cherish his memories; he leaves his loving mother, Verda Hubbard; his daughter, Kathy Rogers-Austin (Timothy).  Danny will be missed by his beloved sister, Marilyn Cathey of Memphis, Tennessee, John Harvey Murry of Mississippi and Leverne Bobo of Memphis, Tennessee.  He leaves behind his grandson, Avere Austin (Leontyne); granddaughter, Alyson Austin; niece, Andrea McCray (Renado) of Memphis, Tennessee; nephew, Justin Palmer (Gabriel) of Desoto, Mississippi and two great grand grandsons; great nephews, cousins and friends.
