Dean Arthur

On May 24, 2021, Dean Arthur, age 93 years went to her heavenly home to be with her dear and precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  She was born in Starkville, MS.  In 1953, she moved to Joliet with her husband and children. 

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Aren Arthur (1995); her parents; son, John; daughter, Julie and 10 brothers and sisters.

She leaves to celebrate her entrance into eternal rest and glory; Daniel (former daughter-in-law Sherry) Arthur, Peggy (Albert) McCullum, Bobby (former daughter-in-law, Janet) Arthur, Cheryil (Robert) King and Jacqueline Arthur (former son-in-law, Andre Martelly).  She also leaves nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.  

In fulfillment of her wishes, her funeral was private with family members in attendance.  Service was held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Minor-Morris Funeral Home, Ltd., 112 Richards St., Joliet, IL.  Service was officiated by Minister Erika Liburd of Bolingbrook, IL.  Interment followed at Woodlawn Memorial Park 1, Joliet, IL.
