Diane (Shoemaker) Jordan

Phazier Diane Jordan was born on October 12, 1953, to Lessie Shoemaker and Ollie Shoemaker.

She went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 29, 2021 at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Medical Center.

She graduated from Joliet Central High School.

Diane loved her job at Comcast of 17 years.  She loved making her sales.

Diane was a diva, she loved wearing high heels and keeping her hair and nails done faithfully.  She loved jewelry and gifts.

Diane was a loving, caring person who we all loved so much.  She was a good mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, aunt, cousin and friend.

Diane loved family gatherings for the holidays and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Lessie Shoemaker; her father, Ollie Shoemaker; son, Scott Shoemaker; brothers, Jerry Shoemaker, Clifton Shoemaker and Robert Shoemaker and special niece, Kenyaro Shoemaker.

Diane is survived by her children; Lacenia Jordan, Brandon Shoemaker (Teisha) and Ebony Sellers; two sisters, Debra Dorris (Alfred) and Carlotta Shoemaker; four brothers, Woody Shoemaker (Vanessa), Kenny Shoemaker, Christopher Shoemaker (Lisa) and Bryant Shoemaker (Sonya); grandchildren, Ronald Welsey, Ashley Pitts, Alyssa Shoemaker, Brandon Shoemaker Jr., Breion Shoemaker, Bryson Shoemaker, Elijah Johnson, Jada Johnson, Braylon Shoemaker, Blake Shoemaker, Courtney Ward, Jr. Corta’Nae Ward; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.  She also leaves behind a special friend, Gwen White; close relatives and friends.
