Diane M. Reese-Polk

Diane Marie Reese-Polk was born January 8, 1969 to the late Calprunia Reese and Curtis A. Duke, Jr. Diane transitioned to eternity August 29, 2021.

Diane was educated in the Joliet Public School System. She maintained various positions during her career life. Later in life.Diane was united in holy matrimony to Edgar Polk. She and Edgar joined Way of Life Holy Church, where she served faithfully until her death.

Diane was a devoted mother to Jennanuel, Joevanna (Kendall), Brian (Monika) and Sidney (Cori); and loving grandmother to Da'Veon, Ayden, Jayce, Courtney, Sidney and Sha'Niyah.

Diane enjoyed being with family, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, shopping, visiting the salon, and various church activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calprunia Reese-Johnson and Curtis Duke, Jr.; and her aunt and uncle, Rebecca and Larry Vann.

She leaves to cherish her memories dear husband, Edgar Polk; loving children, Jennanuel, Joevanna, Brian, and Sidney; father, WonegieJohnson; sisters, Linda, April and Erica; a special aunt. Savannah Johnson; a special cousin, Lindoria Storey; numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
