Donald Nobles Sr.

Donald Nobles, Sr., also affectionately known as "Donnie" or "Duck", was born on January 27, 1957, to Willie A. Nobles and Ora V. Nobles (nee Shelby) in Joliet, Illinois.  He departed this earthly life on November 11, 2025, at Rush University Medical Center.

 Donald accepted Christ at an early age and always believed that Christ was the source of his being. He graduated from Joliet Central High School, Class of 1975.  Donald had a love and passion for music and at a young age he became acquainted with his gift of playing music by ear.  He was also a lover of history but had even a greater love for reading and studying God's Word.  

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Willie A. and Ora V. Nobles; brothers, Tommy L. Laster, Sr., George E. Moffett, William S. Nobles, Sr., and sisters Katie D. Nobles and Lora Nobles; nephews Kevin McNeill, Lord S. Nobles, Donte DeBarge, Deondre Smith and Corey L. Nobles, Sr. and niece, April D. Morgan.

Donald is survived by his loving children, Donald Nobles, Jr. (Fiance' Lizbeth), DeLonte Nobles and bonus daughter, Courtney; his grandchildren Whitney, Donald III, Donovan, Alexes, Elijah, Gabriel, and Maya; his brother, Leroy Nobles and sisters, Elouise McNeil (Denver, CO) and Beverly A. Smith along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
