Donnell Bradley

January 2, 1961 ~ September 4, 2023 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Obituary

Donnell was born January 2, 1961, in Joliet, Illinois to Arcola and Booker T. Bradley, Sr. He made his transition suddenly on Monday, September 4, 2023, and went home to be with our Lord

As a young man, Donnell expressed his desire to learn the Bible and about Jesus Christ. He attended Sunday School at Greater Bible Way where he was baptized by the honorable Bishop Samuel Allen. Donnell would later visit and worship at other churches in the Joliet area, still seeking to gain and feed the desire to learn the Word of God.

Donnell enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. There was never a time you’d see him without a smile on his face. Donnell enjoyed dancing and no one could tell him he was not a great dancer.

Donnell worked at several factories in the Joliet area but grew a passion for carpentry and would later work on many homes in Joliet, Bolingbrook, and in the state of Indiana.

Donnell was preceded in death by his parents, Booker T. Bradley Sr. and Arcola Bradley, his son, Jericho Parker, grandson, Samuel Brown; brother, Gregory Bradley, and loving sister, Lucille Bradley.

Donnell leaves to mourn his passing; four sons, Donnell Cole of Crest Hill, IL, Dante (Iniobong) Bradley-Cole of Channahon, IL, Malik Bradley of Joliet, IL, Kamar Bradley of Joliet, IL; two daughters, NaKeisha (Patrick) Brown of Chicago, IL and Taleah Bradley of Joliet, IL and one stepdaughter, Shambrea Reddick-Bradley of Joliet, IL.

Donnell also leaves his beloved grandchildren: Kameron Cole, Kevin Cole, McKenzie Cole, Daeyana Cole, Dante Cole Jr, Daniel Cole, Nakyla Brown, Sara Brown, Timothy Williams III, Ehrick McNeely, NiYonte Johnson, Patrick Brown Jr, and Prince Brown.

Donnell also leaves his loving family in the care of the Almighty God to cherish his memories: four sisters, Anna Bell Wilson, Arcola Bradley, Ramona Allen, and Cynthia D’Hustler; four brothers, Booker T. Bradley Jr., Joseph Bradley, Benny Lee Bradley, and David (Deatrice) Bradley, all who reside in Joliet, Illinois and one long-time earthly friend, Andria Powell.
