Eugene Luckey

Eugene Luckey was born on February 17, 1952 in Joliet, Illinois to Junior and Eliza Luckey.  He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age.

Eugene worked for Kohlar Furniture Store for several years.  From there, he was employed by Harrison/Walker (General Refractory) for over 20 years, when he retired in 1998.

He departed this life on Monday, January 4, 2021. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Paula (Avent) Luckey and his brothers, Bill Luckey and Steven Luckey.

Eugene is survived by his five children, Michelle Mosley, Eugene Luckey Jr. (Michelle), Eric Mosley, Keantae Luckey and Keanee Luckey; his siblings, Louise Henley-Brown (Jim) of Memphis, TN, Margaret Mosley (ET) of Wyoming, MI, Glenda G. Pierce (Jimmy) and Julie Logan of Locust Grove, GA, Joe (Pamela) Luckey of Joliet, IL, David Luckey of Riverdale, GA, Darrell Luckey of Locust Grove, GA.  He also leaves a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
