Eular Louise Tucker passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was born on November 15, 1955, in Bolton, MS, and was the youngest daughter of Oddie Lee Tucker and Annie Lee (Atkinson) Tucker. She was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Annie Lee Tucker, Jackson, MS; five brothers: O.T. (Lillie) Tucker, Joliet, IL; Willie (Irma) Tucker, Jackson, MS; Oddie Jr. (Mentha) Tucker, Edwards, MS; Percy (Etta) Tucker, Joliet, IL; Leonard Tucker, Shorewood, IL; and four sisters: Ethel (Charles) Brown, Joliet, IL; Willie Mae Tucker, Bolton, MS; Carrie Berry, Clinton, MS; and Annie Ruth (Joe) Tullos, Jackson, MS; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and special friends.
Eular grew up in Bolton, MS, and attended Sumner Hill School in Clinton, MS. She later moved to Joliet, Illinois, where she lived for several decades. She was a loving sister and devoted daughter. She enjoyed life to its fullest, and loved to cook and travel. Eular was a dedicated employee for over 30 years at Westell Technologies in Aurora, IL, and most recently worked for several years at Bergstrom in Joliet, IL. She was a long-time beloved member of Friendship Baptist Church in Joliet, Illinois, where she sang in the choir and served for many years.
