Felicia L. Ledbetter, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, left this world on August 15, 2023. Her departure has left an indescribable void in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. As we bid her farewell, we celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the profound impact she made on all who crossed her path.
Felicia was born on August 9, 1967 to proud parents, Arlinda Ledbetter and Oliver Lesley. From an early age, it was evident that she possessed a unique spirit and an unwavering determination to make a difference in the lives of others while being an awesome cashier of many years at Certified Foods. Her vibrant personality, infectious laughter, and compassionate nature endeared her to everyone she encountered.
Felicia's most cherished role is being a loving mother. As a mother, Felicia poured her heart and soul into raising her children, imparting upon them values of kindness, empathy, and resilience. She was their guiding light and the rock upon which their lives were built.
In her leisure time, Felicia enjoyed exploring the beauty of nature. She found solace in the great outdoors, going to the casino, bingo, and shopping in her community. Her appreciation for the simple pleasures in life was a reminder to us all to pause, breathe, and find joy in the world around us.
Felicia's departure leaves an immense void, but her memory will forever be cherished by her loved ones. Felicia is preceded in death by Marty Ledbetter, Demetrius Ledbetter, John Ledbetter, Emma Gean Gross Ledbetter, Luiza Eskridge, and Verne Eskridge
She is survived by her devoted spouse, Patrick Davis; her children, Wesley D. Ledbetter, Fredrick I. Ledbetter, Darius D. Ledbetter, and Jacquelin N. Ledbetter; her parents, Arlinda Ledbetter and Oliver Lesley; her siblings, Willard Lesley, Wesley Lesley, Myra Lesley, Myron Lesley; and her favorite uncle, Johnny Ledbetter (Vanessa Timms); her favorite aunt, Kathy Ledbetter; grandchildren, Nakea King, Jalen Ledbetter, Carter Travis, Trineah Ledbetter; her best friends, Renee Pleasant and Constance Baker; close cousins, Jodie Ledbetter, Jill Ledbetter; and a wide circle of family and friends who will carry her spirit in their hearts.
As we mourn the loss of Felicia L. Ledbetter, let us also celebrate the immeasurable impact she made during her time with us.
