Flora Ann Roby was born November 12, 1960 to the union of Jeff and Luella Brooks Sr. She was the second of five children. Her parents Jeff and Luella and oldest brother, Terry Joe Roby, all preceded her in death.
Flora was affectionately known as "Fran or Flo" to many. Flo attended and graduated from South Shore High School in Chicago, Illinois. She loved building and making things with her hands. She had a passion for creating and designing things out of wood.
Fran accepted Christ at an early age. She faithfully listened to Holiness Is The Way Gospel Temple C.O.G.I.C. She would call and discuss the service with her cousin, Drunita Steward.
Fran worked on the assembly line at Motorola Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois. She also worked as a printing machinist at Century Engraving in Chicago, Illinois.
Fran loved to fish, barbecue and attend family gatherings. She loved to dance and danced until her health prevented her from doing a step or two. She was very family oriented and made it her mission to call and check on her loved ones.
Fran absolutely adored her grandchildren; they were the apple of her eye. They gave her strength and brought joy and laughter to her heart.
Flora leaves to cherish her beloved two sons Teron Perry and Malik Roby; two sisters, Brenda (I.J.)
