Floyd E. Faint, Sr. was born June 10, 1972 in Joliet, IL to the parents of Paulette Faint and Floyd Manuel. He was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.
Floyd attended Joliet public schools and graduated from Joliet Central High school. He went to Perkins Community College where he majored in mechanical. In 1999, he started his first business called Faint Lawn Service; then changed it in 2000 to Tammy Paradise. He worked at Job Corps, VA, and Polar Service Center. He was a hard worker.
Floyd enjoyed traveling, fishing, taking his grandkids places, and cooking. He loved dogs and loved to listen to Bob Marley. He was dedicated to his children. He loved hanging with family and friends. Floyd was filled with fun and laughter.
Floyd is preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Gilman; father, Floyd Manuel; son, Floyd Faint Jr.; brother, Jeff Faint; sister, Lanita Nobles; maternal grandparent, Mama Mae and James Love; and paternal grandparents, Sarah and Sly Manuel.
Floyd leaves to cherish his loving memories: his mother, Paulette Faint; his children, Demetrious, aka Dedu Moffett and Chikyra Faint, both of Joliet, IL; grandkids, Jayden, Davonne, Neveah, Demia, Daijah, Anthoni, Damiya, and Demetrious; six god-children, Glennisha Myers, Raekel Terry, Sandra, Mariah and Ariana Guerro, and Neal Blankey Jr., all of Joliet, IL; one sister, Kim Manuel of Texas; and one brother, Elijah Manuel of Joliet, IL; Aunte Lynn and Aunte Joanne; special friends, Chubbs, April, and Rasta; his second mother, Debra Manuel; and other relatives and friends.
