Frank Hale Sr. was born January 2, 1934 in Newport, Arkansas to mother, Annie Augusta Hale and father, Calvin Sheard. He went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2021 in Bolingbrook, Illinois with his loving family by his side.
He accepted Christ in his latter years and was faithful to his church. He was well liked and had a kind heart for people. He was loving and kind at all times and had a beautiful smile. The sorrow of death compassed me and the pain of hell got hold upon me. I found trouble and sorrow, then I called upon the name of the Lord.
He moved to Chicago as a child and attended Chicago Public Schools. He was employed by Milton Industries and later worked for the Chicago Police Department.
He enjoyed cracking jokes, laughing, raising his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved attending church. He attended church every Sunday on the westside of Chicago at Christian Temple Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Annie; father, Calvin; wife, Mary Ann Flowers Hale; and son, Albert D. Hale; sisters, Ruth Hale Hart and Mildred Hale; brothers, Eugene Hale, David Hale, Roy Hale, Calvin Sheard Jr. and James Sheard.
Frank is survived by his son, Frank Hale Jr., step-son, Eddie Carter; special granddaughter, Florine Hale, special great grandchildren, Sabrina Lundy, Jordan Faint, Jayvon Faint and Alex Williams; two brothers, Albert Hale and Edward Sheard; special niece, Linda and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
