Gerald  Lee Eugean Smith was  born on November 24, 1989 to Katrina Vincent and Eric Sims; he is preceded in by his grandmother, Elaine Vincent; Great-grandmother, Thelma Smith-May; son, Greyson Smith; brother, Shawndell Smith; aunt, Pamela Vincent; sisters, Dominique Waddell and Tavanisha Brooks and great uncles and aunties. He leaves behind a long-term soul mate  of 15 years, Taccarah Wang and his 3 year old son, Genesis Smith.

He was a devoted partner, a loving father, a cherished son, a loyal brother, and a treasured friend. His kindness, strength, charisma, and generous heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He had a remarkable ability to make people smile, offer support without hesitation, and leave a lasting impression wherever he went.
