Gertrude Chandler Bridgeman was born September 5, 1916 to James Buchanan and Josephine Jackson in Memphis, Tennessee. She peacefully went home to glory on May 22, 2026, at her home in Joliet, Illinois.
Gertrude leaves to cherish her grandchildren; Shirley, Brayzill Jr. (Talonika) of Houston Texas, Karen, Dianna, Roderick (Cina), Yvette, Trinita all of Joliet, IL , Tya of Roland, Oklahoma and 5 generations of grandchildren. She was also survived by nephews, Larry and Melvin Withers of Detroit, Michigan; special grandsons in love Calvert Crudup and Michael Miller.
