Glenda Ann Keith was born January 25, 1952 in Alexander City, Alabama to Otis Maxwell and Lorena Maxwell. She was the fourth born of eight children.
She accepted Christ at a young age and continued in her faith.
Glenda followed in her mother’s footsteps; she was full of love and kindness, would give everyone her last dime and always had great pride when talking about her other siblings.
She attended Laurel High School and was the last graduating class in 1970. She moved to Chicago, Illinois and was a Caregiver in a local nursing home.
Glenda was united in Holy Matrimony to Tommie Keith and remained until his passing.
Glenda is preceded in death by her father, Otis Maxwell; mother, Lorena Maxwell; husband, Tommie Keith; sisters, Carrie Dell, Eunice and brothers, Ricky and Rocellious.
She departed this life on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Joliet, Illinois.
Glenda’s beloved memories will be cherished by two brothers, Nathaniel (Lois) Moon of Albany, Georgia and James (Jean) Tuck of Shreveport, Louisiana; one sister, Betty Maxwell of Akron, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
