Henry Edward Petties

Henry Edward Petties was born on February 1, 1951, to the union of  Richard Petties Sr. and Carrie (Nathaniel) Petties in Chicago, Illinois. His father, Richard Sr., sister Dorothy, and brother, Richard Jr. preceded him in death. 

Henry attended James Wadsworth Elementary School and Hyde Park High School in Chicago, Illinois. Henry created his own lane in life and became a successful entrepreneur. Henry had a sincere love for family, friends, and fishing. He was a meticulous dresser with a passion for stepping. He enjoyed riding his scooter and driving his cars. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized at Cornerstone Christian Center under the leadership of Apostle Greg Howse.

Henry departed this life on October 10, 2024 at OSF Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Henry leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, siblings, nephews, nieces, and many relatives and friends, among them, Darlene Booth. "As our brother would say, more will be revealed."
